Meet Sandra Davis, Founder and Lead Designer

Behind Wildly Rooted Floral Design is founder and creative director Sandra Davis. Long before weddings became her profession, Sandra found purpose in making things with her hands and drawing inspiration from the natural world. She became fascinated by color, movement, balance, and the way thoughtful design changes how people move through a space.

She founded Wildly Rooted in 2021 during the peak of COVID. Today that same fascination shapes every wedding we create.

Sandra has become known among Southeast wedding professionals for her calm presence, creative intuition, and genuine collaboration with couples, planners, fellow vendors and corporations. Whether she is designing a romantic ceremony arch or overseeing an immersive installation, the goal stays the same: create something authentic, expressive, and beautifully personal.

Luxury Floral Design Should Feel Personal

No two love stories are identical, so no two floral designs should be either. Some couples envision lush garden romance. Others dream of sculptural, modern arrangements. Some love timeless neutrals, and others embrace vibrant palettes filled with unexpected color.

Rather than following trends, we begin by learning about you and your spouse-to-be: your personality, your story, your favorite places, and your vision for the celebration. Only then do we start designing florals that feel unmistakably yours.

Luxury has very little to do with quantity. It comes from meaningful detail throughout the process and the finished design: carefully selected flower varieties, balanced proportion, thoughtful mechanics, seamless installation, and considered transitions from ceremony to reception.

Most importantly, luxury means our couples never have to worry about their flowers. From design consultation and sourcing through delivery, installation, and breakdown, we handle every step. Our full-service floral packages exist so you can stay fully present on your wedding day.

We also take on a deliberately limited number of weddings and large events each year. That selectivity is what allows us to work closely with you and your planning team from first concept to final install. Selective events allow us to remain refreshed and ready for your event to be brought to life with ultimate precision and care

Our work has taken us to venues across the Southeast, including Swann Lake Stables, Hamilton Place at Pursell Farms, 2719 The Ferrell, Ovenbird, Dyron's Lowcountry, and The Clubhouse on Highland.

Our work also extends beyond weddings. We recently designed florals for Women in Preparedness Network's A Lesson in Luxury event in Nashville, layering white hydrangea, lilies, winding branches, and candlelight into a design that felt both refined and inviting.

Growing Through Every Season

Wildly Rooted Floral Design has always been about more than flowers. Like every small business, we have experienced seasons of celebration alongside seasons of unexpected challenges within our personal lives. Throughout 2025 and 2026, our family navigated significant health trials while continuing to serve couples and creative partners.

That season taught us to build in more margin, lean on our trusted wedding community, and stay grateful for every planner, freelancer, vendor, and client who placed confidence in us. Those lessons continue to shape how we serve: with empathy, flexibility, and genuine care.

What "Wildly Rooted" Really Means

Wildly Rooted Floral Design began on a firm foundation. The name was dreamed up after reading Colossians 2: 6-7: “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”. Every time we hear our name, it is a reminder to ourselves and those we serve to be wildly rooted in Christ.

On the contrary, being “wildly rooted” means being inspired by nature without trying to control it. It means creating bold floral designs that still feel timeless, choosing meaningful detail over unnecessary excess, and celebrating texture, movement, and color. 

It also means building relationships before arrangements, helping couples feel cared for from the first consultation until the final bloom is packed away. This business is bigger than just providing flowers to our trusting clients. It creates lasting friendships and community ties.

Whether we are designing an intimate dinner party, an elaborate wedding weekend, a luxury brand event, or a large-scale installation, our mission is unchanged. We create floral experiences that feel immersive and intentional, because long after the flowers fade, we hope your guests still remember how your celebration made them feel.
